Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Awards Festival 2018 to be held in Bhubneshwar

The Srjan Nrityabasa is on the threshold of exciting and potentially huge Award event – the 24th  edition of the “OMC Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Awards Festival”, which will be held between 5th to 9th September 2018 at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneshwar.

“NALCO Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Award” will be awarded to Dr. Satchi Das for Theatre and Guru Lingaraj Behera for Dance while “NALCO Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Award Yuva Prativa Samman” will be awarded to Smt. Sonali Mohapatra, Bhubaneswar for Odissi Dance, Sri Subikash Mukherjee, Kolkata (Odissi), Smt. Swati Sinha, Delhi (Kathak), and Shri Rohan Dahale, Mumbai (Odissi Mardala).

Renowned artistes from different states will be performing at the festival. Noted dancer and film personality Hema Malini will grace the evening of the concluding day of the festival.
